AFP Volunteer Wednesday

WORK DAY We’re doing our RTI’s – using the rodent tracking tunnel lines to monitor our current rat densities. This task happens on two consecutive days and we need a clear (i.e not raining) night in between, so we might need to adjust this depending on the weather.

Arrive at the kohanga ready to go at 8:30 am, and enjoy a morning cuppa and a chat before you head home at 12. Bring clothing and footwear suitable for walking both on and off track, gloves and pair of secateurs.  Long pants and sleeves advised at this time of year given the wasp population are at (or nearing) their peak.
