Sea Cleaners is dedicated to restoring the health and abundance of Aotearoa’s marine and freshwater ecosystems. Since 2002, we lead collaborative efforts to remove marine waste and engage communities. Using specialised vessels, we clean coastlines, harbours, and waterways, with the daily support of volunteers. Our impact goes beyond clean-ups: we drive change through school programmes, community events, and public presentations. Working alongside iwi, schools, government, businesses, and volunteers, we are united in turning the tide on marine pollution. We are also building a nationwide recycling alliance to divert waste and reduce reliance on landfills.
