A voyage to NZ’s sub Antarctic islands and their predator free stories

Have you ever wondered what lives on the subantarctic islands south of Stewart Island? They are not featured on many NZ maps, yet their biodiversity is spectacularly unique, with a variety of endemic species on each of the island groups. Just like on mainland New Zealand, the species that call the NZ’s subantarctic islands home had no adaptations to the introduced mammals that came with human arrival. Watch to learn more about Campbell Island, Auckland Islands and the Snares ecosystems. The challenges they face and what we can do better to protect them for future generations.
